IOE Team Leader – Yarra Ranges Hub

Full time position: 38 hours per week

A registered NDIS service provider, IOE services include flexible support, recreation and development programs, plan management, service coordination, training and development and behaviour support services. IOE services operate from location-based service hubs (Knox, Maroondah, Yarra Ranges), as well as agency wide recreation, volunteer and family support services.

The Yarra Ranges Hub currently provides 1:1 support, a day service option, small group recreational supports and local family support.

The team leader’s role is to effectively lead a team of staff who facilitate the day-to-day services for families and young people with disabilities and to ensure services are conducted efficiently, effectively and of a high standard on behalf of the agency.

Applicants must have passion and belief in people’s rights and citizenship. Our services are family focused; therefore working favourably with families is core to this role.

We are seeking someone that has:

  • Proven ability to work closely with families, community groups and other service providers.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, meeting the needs of people from various backgrounds and skill levels.
  • Strong skills in leadership, support and coaching of staff
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and administrative skills.
  • Experience with National Disability Insurance Scheme

IOE Adult Services Program Coordinator

Full time position: 38 hours per week

Generous salary packaging available.

Interchange Outer East is inviting applications for a Coordinator position with their Adult Services program.

The role is based in the Yarra Ranges Hub in Lilydale and is primarily responsible for the operation and daily coordination of day programs and supports for groups of young people with a focus on community participation.

Applicants should have:

  • A strong commitment to the rights of people with a disability.
  • Proven ability to work closely with families, community groups and people with disabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and administrative skills, including budgeting.
  • The ability to develop and co-ordinate support Ssaff.
  • Capacity to coordinate and develop a range of programs.
  • Proven ability to work in a positive manner in a team environment.
  • Ability to work and support others in a changing environment.
  • A good understanding of the NDIS.
  • Relevant experience in the field is desirable.

Interchange Outer East regularly advertises employment opportunities for casual support workers to work with children and young adults with disabilities on a 1:1 basis, or within group programs. If you are passionate about working with people and a firm belief in equality for all, we would love you to work with us.
