Pathways Program Coordinator

Full time position – 38 hours per week for 3.5 years

Salary: $37.68 hourly rate. Generous salary packaging available.

The Pathways Coordinator is responsible for the overall management and implementation of the Pathways for Carers project. The primary function is to support the development and implementation of new Pathways walks across Victoria, creating sustainable partnerships beyond the project lifespan.

Pathways For Carers walks provide carers from all backgrounds with the opportunity to connect with their local community, have moderate exercise in a natural environment, meet other carers, and build relationships with those in similar carer roles.

Applicants should have

  • Proven experience in the overall management, leading, coordination, development and support, of community service based programs or related field.
  • An understanding of a carers’ journey and what may be of value to them.
  • Excellent administrative and planning skills and capacity for high levels of independence, autonomy and time management.
  • A passion and belief in people’s rights and citizenship.

Interchange Outer East regularly advertises employment opportunities for casual support workers to work with children and young adults with disabilities on a 1:1 basis, or within group programs. If you are passionate about working with people and a firm belief in equality for all, we would love you to work with us.
