Provision Coordinator

Full time position: 38 hours per week
Salary: $36.37 per hour. Generous salary packaging available.

IOE is a registered NDIS service provider, offering flexible support, recreation and development programs as well as plan management, service coordination, training and development and behaviour support services.

. Our services are family focused; therefore working favorably with families is core to this role.

The role of a provision coordinator focuses on the operation and daily provision of supports for individuals and their families – matching support workers with individuals and setting up rosters and support in line with a person’s NDIS goals.

Applicants should possess the following qualities:

  • Experience and an understanding of the principles of the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
  • Proven ability to work closely with families, community groups and other service providers.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, meeting the needs of people from various backgrounds and skill levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and administrative skills.
  • Experience in guiding and developing support workers
  • Experience matching staff and rostering
  • Ability to support families/individuals to create individual budgets in line with their NDIS plan.
  • Capacity to be creative and co-ordinate specific programs/projects as required.
  • Ability to work positively in a team

Permanent Support Worker – IOE Independent Living Intensive Program

Part time position: 23 hours per week across 2 days including 1 overnight sleepover
Salary: $28.10 per hour. Generous salary packaging available.

Are you positive and passionate about supporting people in small groups to be involved in developing independence?

If so, this role could be for you. IOE runs a weekly overnight intensive program designed to develop skills and build capacity with participants towards a more independent life at home and in the community.

Applicants should possess the following qualities:

-Have a strong commitment to a community where the rights and opportunities are equal for all
-Be honest, reliable, innovative and fun and have the ability to work and contribute positively to a team
-Be experienced in supporting young adults with a disability, preferably in a small group situation
-Possess skills in developing programs that develop capacity and respond to the aspirations of people with disabilities
-Be able to adapt to a variety of communication styles and be able to respond effectively to difficult situations
-Be flexible with hours and available for regular overnight intensive programs

Interchange Outer East regularly advertises employment opportunities for casual support workers to work with children and young adults with disabilities on a 1:1 basis, or within group programs.
