Yarra Ranges Team Leader
Emma Dobrigh
Emma comes to IOE with a background in working with disadvantaged children, families and aged care. For the past 10 years she worked at Care Connect, starting out as a case manager before becoming Team Leader in both disability and aged care. Prior to that she worked for DHSS in Child Protection.
Emma holds a Diploma in Children’s services, Diploma in Community Welfare and is currently completing her last semester of a Bachelor of Social Science.
Having worked alongside IOE supporting people in the community for many years in her previous employment, Emma was excited to have the opportunity of transferring her skills to IOE. Emma is passionate about social inclusion and the positive connections this brings for all people. She loves that IOE has this focus with the aim of supporting not only the participants but their families as well.
Emma is a proud mum of a beautiful 13 year old daughter, Charli, and has a fantastic supportive husband and extended family. Her family are all avid Collingwood supporters and she is a volunteer at the Montrose football club, where inclusion is embraced in her role as the female team’s coordinator. Emma and her family live locally and she is excited to be now working locally too.
The family enjoy travelling and teaching Charli about different cultures and ways of life, they particularly love their visits to Thailand.
If you pop by the Yarra Ranges hub in Lilydale you might just get to meet the family’s Rotti, Zara, as she is a frequent visitor there!
