A final reminder that this coming Friday April 10 is our YOUth be HEARd, IOE’s festival to celebrate this year’s National Youth Week. It will be happening at the Marie Wallace Reserve (known as the train park) Melways 64G2.  We’ll be celebrating all the great things that youth are doing in our community and raising awareness of youth mental health issues at the same time.

Everyone – that is EVERYONE – is invited. Bring family and friends as there will be heaps for kids, teens and adults to do on the day. It’s school holidays so what better way to spend a day out with the family … and it’s FREE too.

WHO’S EXCITED?!? WE CERTAINLY ARE!!

Make sure you have 11am-3pm on Friday free,  otherwise you’re going to be missing out …  big time!!

We have so many cool things planned! Wheelchair basketball, LIVE music, guest speakers, meditation, face painting, big board games, picnic area, stalls with great activities and heaps of info about mental health in youth! We’ll be getting some big balls out for everyone to try get on top of – don’t worry St Johns first aid will be there (just in case) –  and so much more!! It’s going to be a great day out for young people, family, and friends – remember all ages are welcome.

Any money raised at this event through sales and raffles is going to Interchange Outer East programs.  So come along and have a great day!
