Movies, swimming, playgrounds, fun filled 2 and 3 day camps ... If these sound like activities you’d like to get into then Interchange would love to hear from you.
If you’re 14 years of age or more you can volunteer with our weekend and holiday recreation programs. As a volunteer your job will be to assist the children to participate as fully as possible in activities.
Camps and days out are always jam packed with things to do. All activities have one main object in mind - fun ! Fun for children and, just as importantly, fun for volunteers.
We already have a large group of wonderful, enthusiastic and committed recreation program volunteers - but with an ever increasing number of activities and children, we always need more.
There is no minimum commitment necessary, you choose dates that suit you!
You don’t need to have a lot of knowledge about disability, there are always staff and more experienced volunteers around to support you.
