Youth Groups give teenagers, aged 14 - 18 years, the opportunity to participate in age appropriate community based recreational activities and to develop social skills and increase independence levels in a supportive recreational setting.
Small groups of teenagers participate in various community based, full day activities on Saturdays during school terms, plus 8 weekend camps per year.
An Interchange Youth Group leader and a team of regular volunteers assist with care needs and activity participation. Youth groups operate on a 1 staff / volunteer to 2 participants basis.
