The Ferntree Gully Community Mens Shed, Interchange Outer East’s latest venture, is set to officially open on Friday November 27. Located at the rear of the IOE Enterprises premises in Sylvia Street (adjacent to the Yose Street site) The Shed is open to males of all ages from the local community. Its vision is to be a welcoming place where men can get together to socialise, meet others, learn skills, engage in a range of activities and projects and have fun.

The launch will kick off at 5pm with a sausage sizzle followed by a shed tour, guest speakers, and discussion about the proposed activities and projects. There will also be a raffle and tool boxes for the kids to make and take home.

Working bees have already been held to generally clean up and clear the existing area in preparation for the opening and its future use. The next working bee is planned for November 15 between 10am and 4pm with lunch and drinks provided, so come along and lend a hand!

Please contact Erin  erin.wegberg@ioe.org.au or call 9758 5522 to register for the opening, the next working bee or for more information about The Shed.
