NDIS Victorian Rollout dates

No Wrong Door – A Fantastic resource supported by Knox, Maroondah and the Yarra Ranges Council. No Wrong Door is a directory where youth, caregivers and service providers can find the right support for young people; a one stop shop.

Every Australian Counts The Every Australian Counts campaign for the NDIS was instrumental in rallying the support for the NDIS. Check out the website for ongoing reports

Family Resources

FireReady – Interchange has some audio versions of the “FireReady” kits which are available for loan to anyone interested in reading them – we currently have a DAISY version and two CDA sets.
The Country Fire Authority of Victoria worked in partnership with Vision Australia to produce accessible audio and electronic text versions of the FireReady Kit for people with print disability.  The CFA is committed to ensuring that all members of the community are able to access their publications and to access information on their website at

iPad Assistance
– Do you need assistance with working through the maze of iPad apps or setting up and personalising your iPad?

How to set up guided access on the iPad
For info or to request an IPad loan though IOE’s ‘Try Before You Buy’ iPad Program contact Bee Wallace or Samantha Marchesani at IOE 9758 5522.
Camera Mouse – free program which allows you to control the mouse pointer by moving your head.
Another head control – If you have IOS 7 on your iPad or iPhone, you can control your device using your head.
Go to ‘Settings’ then ‘General’ and then ‘Accessibility’. Set ‘Switch Control’ to ‘On’.
There you can add different “Switches,” or physical cues to control your phone. Impressive!
