It was such a relaxing trip; so relaxing I could hardly call it work! I think the thing I loved most about the cruise, is the freedom everybody has and the friendships the guys made with other cruisers. I feel that there is a huge importance for these opportunities to continue.
It is very natural, a group of mates going on holiday together. One of the guys was invited on stage in front of 1500 people to be part of a play. While he was walking onto the stage, all different groups in the room were shouting out his name. I felt great seeing that he had made so many friends on the trip and that he was the life of the party.
It was interesting going to Hobart for the day. Nobody was worried about the local history or the beautiful walks. The one place we wanted to go to was ... the Cadburys factory. I’ll describe the place in one word. YUM!!!
The cruise ran a karaoke competition on the ship on four of the nights. One of our group's young ladies tried out for the competition every night, hoping to perform in the final. She kept singing slow love songs. I told her after the first night that she should probably let other people try because she really wasn’t very good. Her response was “That is your opinion and tomorrow night it will be different” It wasn’t!
