What A Party!

Jade and I have gone along to the amazing Variety Christmas Party for a couple of years now.

It is a huge event and this year, as with last year, kids with disabilities were allowed in earlier than the general attendance to make it easier for them to get access to all the rides and activities, which meant Jade got a chance to have a go at all those things she wanted to without the crowds. There are heaps of things to do with rides, activities, entertainment, petting zoo, food … loads of fun for all the children.

The party is just one of the many free events that Variety organises for disadvantaged children. It’s supported by lots of businesses, organizations and individuals – all of whom contribute to the cost of running the event plus the cost of the incredible presents the children receive  -the gifts are legendary.

It’s crowded and it’s very noisy (and pretty tiring for parents and carers) but seeing the smiling faces and enjoyment of all the kids it is definitely a party not to be missed. Thanks Variety and all the wonderful sponsors for another fantastic event.
