Film makers from Interchange Outer East have released their latest thriller 'Fire House' just in time for the summer film festival season.

This film explores a complicated triangle of relationships and what happens when that triangle gets bent out of shape. The main character, Tom, is a married fire-fighter who is comfortable with his job and his life.

Unknown to Tom, his wife Charlotte, is exploring other options and the company of another man. Tom is unsuspecting of what happens when work gets a little too close to home.

Fire House is set in a fire station and was predominantly filmed at the Melbourne Fire Brigade earlier in the year.

The Director of Fire House said, "It was great to have access to a real fire station, rather than creating sets. We were able to use the change rooms, the trucks and different parts of the building to shoot different scenes. The MBF were really accommodating and supportive of the project and we honestly would not have been able to pull it together without them."

It took seven amateur actors and two others to pull the whole project together, with no budget, little experience and a lot of hard work.

Lead actor, Jackson Glenn said, "I think being involved in the film was good. I played Tom. Sometimes Tom is happy and sometimes he is angry. I love it. I'm happy about the film. People should see the film."

Fire House has successfully been entered into the Bravado Film Festival, an initiative of the Yarra Ranges Youth Services. It can be seen and voted for through the website http://www.yrys.com click on 'Media' and the 'Bravado Film Festival'.
