My big adventure started with mum and dad telling me my present for my 21st birthday. I thought it was a car but when mum told me it was a cruise I thought that was even better. We left on the 28th of January 2017 for 4 nights to Kangaroo island, I took Dad, Mum and Ebonee with me.

We all really didn’t know what to expect but we had the best time and meet some lovely people. We felt like we laughed the whole time and never wanted it to end. With my disability its hard for me to fly on a plane, get away, travel and do a lot of things that I wish I could do.

This holiday that left from Melbourne and travelled to Kangaroo island allowed me to watch movies, gamble, watch karaoke, play the pokies, watch comedy shows, bands, night clubs, looking out at the ocean and many more activities.

The people were amazing in helping me get around and accessing all areas and activities of the ship. I now keep trying to win at the pokies to go on my next cruise. For anyone who is restricted to their wheelchair like me, this is one holiday that allows you to be everywhere and do everything as much as possible.

Oh I also won at Bingo which was very excited but I did secretly want it to be a bongo. So my carer Ebonee would have to do the chicken dance on the stage and I could laugh at her. lol

Till My Next Cruise!!
