Dads Ready To Roll

February 19, 2015

The Dads Support program for 2015 is off on a roll! First activity for the year, coming up on Wednesday 25th February, is a night of barefoot lawn bowls followed by dinner at the Ferntree Gully Bowling Club.
Last year saw an increase in interest from IOE fathers in getting together with other dads so Fred’s plan is to extend the current Dads’ Support program this year to include more activities and more social opportunities for more Dads. The Barefoot Bowls night will be run in conjunction with the Parent Support Network, so extending social opportunities to Dads from that organisation also.

The night starts at 5pm and following the game (no charge), dinner and drinks are available at the Club bistro at the venue prices. If Dads would like to have a say in how Dads’ Support is run, there will be a meeting after dinner to have a chat about the program’s direction and activities – so hang around for a bit and have a chat to Fred and other Dads.

If you are an IOE Dad and haven’t been on any activities or weekends before, why not come along, have a bowl, some dinner and meet some other fathers. We are sure you will leave wondering why you haven’t been to anything in the past and looking forward to being more involved in the future!

The Mums Support is legendary, so let’s see if the Dads can reach our lofty level.
