In November this year Interchange Outer East will be holding a camp for families of users of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) techniques.

The camp aims to connect people who have little or no speech who are AAC users or potential users, to empower them and to create opportunities to share knowledge and hear about new directions.

Date:    Friday 29th November – Sunday 1st December 2013

Venue: Camp Manyung,

               Sunnyside Road, Mount Eliza

Families, individuals and professionals will be available to share the knowledge they’ve gained from their experiences. Activities will challenge AAC users, exploring their potential capability of being an active contributor to conversation. The camp will cater for all family members with activities also planned for siblings. To attend the CCC Camp, families do not need to be registered with Interchange Outer East.
