  • FLEXIBLE CARE TEAM LEADER - full time - 38 hours per week
    The role requires a commitment in providing quality services to people with disabilities and their families.
    Aim of the position:
    To maintain and develop a purchasable service that focuses on providing support that is individually based, consistent and responsive to peoples needs
    To provide leadership, guidance, support and development to program co-ordinators and permanent/casual support workers working within the Flexible Care program of Interchange Outer East Services.

  • VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR  - full time - 38 hours per week
    Interchange Outer East Inc works to assist people to live the life they want by promoting choice, creating opportunity and fostering community connections. Interchange works with children and young people with disabilities, their families and community members to create an inclusive and compassionate community.

The Volunteer Coordinator for the Host and Specialised Care Program is involved in recruitment, assessment, training, support and matching of volunteers who will support families who have a child with a disability.   This position also involves monitoring and supporting the volunteer / family match.
Interchange Outer East is seeking a motivated person who is committed to person centered services, community engagement and involvement. The role requires a person with excellent people skills, a passion for working with young people, high level communication skills and the ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders.  Qualifications and relevant experience in either the disability field or volunteer coordination is preferred.

  • BALANCE COORDINATORfull time - 38 hours per week

Balance Services (Interchange Outer East) provide various supports for young adults with a disability to explore what they want in life through a range of learning, recreational and work opportunities. The services are based across 5 locations in the outer east and we are seeking an enthusiastic person to coordinate one of these sites. This site has a focus on developing work skills and employment. You will also be positively contributing to the future development of the Balance Services and have a vision that all people have the capacity to be involved equally alongside other members in the community.You will need:
• A strong commitment to the rights of people with a disability.
• Ability to develop connections and build relationships with local community members, businesses, family members and people with disabilities.
• Capacity to create and coordinate opportunities in response to people using the service.
• Experience in leading small teams with administration and coordination skills.
• Experience in supporting people with disabilities making positive connections with others.
